Het is van 20 september tot 15 december 2023 in de foyers van de stadsschouwburg te zien.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met de expositie geven we bezoekers een kijkje in het afro-futuristische universum van de boekenserie \u2018HIS STORY OF THE WORLD\u2019 en geven een nieuw perspectief op het ontstaan en de geschiedenis van de wereld. Naast het tentoonstellen van allerlei Afrikaanse en Caribische kunstwerken, dagen we bezoekers ook uit om een nieuwe mythologie te verkennen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met onze events en projecten willen we mensen bewust maken van de eigen rijke geschiedenis en cultuur, die vele eeuwen v\u00f3\u00f3r het kolonialisme en de trans-Atlantische slavernij al floreerde. En omdat niemand weet hoe het Afrikaanse continent zich zou hebben doorontwikkeld zonder die beide gebeurtenissen, hebben onze kunstenaars alle ruimte om hun creativiteit de vrije loop te laten en met hun werk identiteit en trots van de Afrikaanse diaspora terug te nemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De expositie wordt een inspirerende en educatieve ervaring voor iedereen.<br>We hopen deze ervaring na december op meer plaatsen in het land met mensen te delen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Op de foto: Ma Arida, een van de personages uit het boek<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Speciaal voor Stadsschouwburg Utrecht hebben we \u2013 in het kader van de Black Achievement Month \u2013 een expositie gecre\u00eberd met verschillende kunstenaars uit de Afrikaanse diaspora.
